Our night started with a tube ride to Piccadilly Circus which was awesome, more people there than we had seen all day it seemed. We walked through lots of alley ways with charming shops, most of which were closed but just as well because it's way too expensive here to do any real shopping!
At 9:15 we headed over to the Absolut IceBar for our 9:30 reservation, thank you Kara for booking that for us because it was definitely worth it!! The entire experience was superbly exciting, from the fuzzy jackets to the lights and ice sculptures, it was a fantastic event for our first night in town. Kara said the whole place had been redone since the last time she was there, new ice theme and new drinks. Kara and I had the Absolut Injection Molder drink (which I foolishly asked for as the Fuel Injector, not smart) and Michael & Kevin had this crazy drink that turned bright green when it was stirred. SO COOL!!!
After our turn in the IceBar we tried to find a place to eat dinner. Easier said than done in this city as it seems most places stop serving around 9, oops! We ended up at SoHo Pizzeria, not the most authentic London food but there was live music and the pizzas were delicious so we all left full and happy. We made our way back to the Tube just before our 1 day pass expired and saw Kara off to her flat and we went back to the hotel to crash! Awesome start to the trip!!!
