This morning we went to the gym at the hotel and then made our way towards the Victoria and Albert Museum in posh Kensington. Grabbed some lunch at a delicious Italian place called Orisini. It started pouring of course (the weather here is so unpredictable!).
We whizzed through probably not even 1/3 of the museum....the place is enormous! There's just so much to see from fashion to sculpture to galleries from all over the world. Dad knew I'd be back again so we didn't try to squeeze everything in - he was on a bit of a crunch for time as well.
Got back to the hotel and ordered ice cream from room service. Felt like Queen Elizabeth herself! Dad had to take a train to Birmingham so we said our goodbyes at the station, but I'll be seeing him again on Tuesday and we're going to the theatre. YAY!!!
